Conservation Partnerships
MWV has longstanding relationships with leading conservation organizations:
- The Nature Conservancy
- The National Wild Turkey Federation
- Quality Deer Management Association
- The Ruffed Grouse Society
Our relationships with these environmental groups complement our expertise in forest management, and we seek partnerships that support our sustainability efforts.
As an example, the MeadWestvaco Foundation is working with The Nature Conservancy to invest $500,000 to help conserve Brazil's Araucária Forest, part of South America's Atlantic Forest ecosystem. Over five years, the Conservancy will work with private sources to double each dollar donated to the project.
