Ligrene Series: MWV Ligrene 100, A and D
The Ligrene series are low-boiling tall oil distillates that contain high levels of hydrocarbons. These products are a lower-cost source of acidity for anionic flotation reagents and other applications that can tolerate high levels of hydrocarbons.
MWV Tallex
Tallex is a dark-bottoms product from tall oil fractionation, consisting of nonvolatile rosin acids, high-molecular weight alcohols and hydrocarbons and fatty acid esters of sterols and lignin. It is used in asphalt compounds, cement and adhesive binders where color is not critical.
