Tall Oil Rosin

• MWV Rosin S
  This medium-colored, high softening point rosin is an excellent raw material for rubber polymers, paper size, ink resins and adhesive resins where color stability is not critical.
• MWV Rosin R-24
  This highly refined, pale rosin contains high levels of rosin acids. It is an excellent raw material for ester gums, ink resins, polymerized rosin and other applications that require a light-colored, highly purified rosin.

 

Stabilized Rosin - Rubber Chemicals

• MWV Resin 90 
  Resin 90 is a light-colored, catalytically stabilized fluid resin derived from tall oil rosin. For synthetic rubber producers who prepare their own soaps, Resin 90 is an excellent base for polymerization reaction emulsifiers. Its high purity ensures stability and consistency in the polymer, and its fluidity improves handling safety and energy savings by lowering minimum handling temperatures. Its fluidity, compatibility and heat stable properties also makes it suitable for use as a shortstop in various solution polymers. Resin 90 can be used as a plasticizer and tackifier in any application requiring a low softening point, stabilized rosin.

 

• MWV Resin 95, MWV Resin 795 (Na+ Salt of Resin 95), MWV Resin 895 (K+ Salt of Resin 95)
  These products are catalytically stabilized fluid resins designed for use as emulsifiers in SBR polymerization. The high purity ensures stability and consistency in the polymer and its fluidity increases safety in handling and energy savings by lowering minimum handling temperature. Its fluidity, compatibility and heat stable properties also make it suitable for use as a shortstop in various solution polymers, where it provides tack and stability to the finished polymer. This versatility enables the synthetic rubber producer to use one basic tackifier in both emulsion polymerization polymers and solution polymers applications
