Cold In-Place Recycling
Cold in-place recycling (CIR) is one method of pavement recycling. It uses a train of machinery to execute the process on-site in a single pass. This produces a rehabilitated pavement free of surface irregularities and ruts, leading to an improved pavement profile and ride quality. With CIR, 100 percent of the reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) is recycled.

This superior emulsion provides superior mixing and coating properties at low moisture levels in cold recycling and base stabilization. It allows stockpiling of solventless cold mixes and has excellent performance and economics in tack coat emulsions.
