Duodozen® Fully-Enclosed Carton

In U.S. markets, the Duodozen® fully enclosed carton replaces bulky corrugate paperboard with substrates chosen for high tear and wet strength, excellent printability and outstanding cost-to-strength ratio. That results in a beverage carrier with great consumer perception values and brand appeal, and that can lower production costs.

Carefully-Chosen Materials: Carrier Kote®
In U.S. markets, our Duodozen® fully enclosed carton can replace bulky corrugate with Carrier Kote® Coated Natural Kraft® (CNK®) paperboard, chosen for its high tear strength and excellent printability.

CNK paperboard allows for a variety of consumer-preferred opening features that bulky corrugate can’t duplicate. Carrier Kote is strong even when wet, reducing the chance that the carton could break.

It is a thinner caliper but because of its superior strength, has characteristics similar to higher-caliper competitive paperboards. Lower calipers mean a lower paperboard weight and higher yield, reducing manufacturer costs. Carrier Kote also offers excellent offset print quality, with sharper, clearer graphics on the pack, and is recyclable in some recycling plants.

Customization and Options

Optional Handle Design
We offer an optional top handle in our Duodozen. This handle has a proprietary design and manufacturing process that uses three layers of board in the handle, with the third ply folded from an area that in the past was scrap material. This adds reinforcement and strength to the Duodozen carton without adding additional material or cost, and makes it easy for consumers to carry.

Holds Variety of Primary Packaging Containers
Duodozen cartons hold glass or plastic bottles, dairy bottles, carbonated soft drink and non-carbonated soft drink cans, cups, bricks, jars, pouches, and slim or mini cans.

Multiple Configurations
The Duodozen is primarily available in large multipacks in 12, 15, 18, 20 and 24 packs. It is available in a gable top carton or a square pack style carton.

Materials
Duodozen uses Carrier Kote paperboard (Coated Natural Kraft).

Shipping
The carton is shipped flat with the manufacturing glue seam complete.
