Packaging’s effect on patient adherence

Well-designed adherence packaging can have a positive effect on patient adherence in clinical trials by encouraging more compliant behavior, eliminating double-dosing or omission of dosing, thereby improving trial results. Improved patient adherence in a clinical trial setting can result in improved statistical power, facilitating a reduction in patient population size and trial cost.

Our products are customizable. Many of our products are available in unit dose packs with inserts, integrated printable panels for dosing schedules and instructions, and are child-resistant and senior-friendly.

Drug Master Files (DMFs) have been filed with the US FDA for our pharmaceutical pumps, and CE marks have been registered in Europe. According to the medical device directive 2007/47/EC, our products are classified as medical devices class I with measuring function.
