MWare uncoated, bleached paperboards and cup stocks coated with PLA have been certified to ASTM 6868 compostability and biodegradability standards. Cups, plates and containers made from these materials also can be certified compostable by the BPI. Please contact info@bpiworld.org or call 888-274-5646 for more information.
Benefits of Eucalyptus
Klafold coated, unbleached paperboard uses a mix of pine and eucalyptus fibers. In addition to being one of the fastest growing fiber sources for paperboard, eucalyptus allows strength with lower density per caliper, creating a higher yield.
