MWV offers a variety of summer internships that allow students pursing an MBA to gain real world experience at our corporate headquarters in Richmond, VA, U.S.
You'll work directly with professionals who have impressive expertise in the business field. And you'll be assigned to meaningful, high-impact projects that will expose you to a broad range of strategic and tactical initiatives — preparing you for future careers in areas such as finance, marketing, general management and strategy.
Typical Assignments
- Thorough analysis of industries, value chains, company’s businesses, market trends and competitive issues
- Assessment of the financial impact of a variety of decisions and related recommendations
- Develop marketing and business strategies and plans
- Lead development of complex financial models and analysis
- Support the planning and forecasting process
- Revenue and margin productivity analysis
- Balance sheet and cash flow analysis
Requirements
We're seeking smart, passionate people with interesting academic and work backgrounds and a strong work ethic. Students should have outstanding collaborative and communication skills, excellent quantitative/analytical skills and proficient computer skills.
