Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (VMSDC)
MWV has joined the ranks of Philip Morris USA, Sun Trust Bank and Genworth Financial as a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (VMSDC). VMSDC is a leading regional affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), a network including 39 regional councils across the country and 3,500 corporate members throughout the network, including most Fortune 500 companies. The regional councils certify and match more than 15,000 minority-owned businesses with member corporations who want to purchase goods and services.

Our prominence on the VMSDC Board of Directors advances the current Supplier Diversity Initiative, provides key customer visibility and ensures continued leverage of diverse suppliers in our sourcing processes.
