Career History
Mr. Thomas, 51, is senior vice president, Emerging Markets and Innovation, for MeadWestvaco Corporation. In this role, he focuses on leading our marketing and business development activities in key growth markets such as China, India and Eastern Europe.
Prior to joining MWV in May 2007, Bruce was President and CEO of Cadmus Communications Corporation, the world’s leading service provider to academic and scholarly publishers. In his leadership role with Cadmus, he led the expansion of their production platform in India, Singapore, China and the Caribbean Rim, growing market share and improving overall profitability. During his tenure, Bruce also served as chief operating officer, chief financial officer and vice president, Law and Business Development. Prior to Cadmus, Bruce was a merger and acquisitions partner with Troutman Sanders LLP.
