Stephen R. Scherger

Career History

Mr. Scherger is president, beverage and consumer electronics for MWV. Mr. Scherger joined the company in 1986 as a financial analyst, for Mead Data Central, in Dayton, Ohio. In 1990, he was promoted to director, finance and accounting, Lexis Document Services, Mead Data Central, in Springfield, Illinois.  He became director, business management, Mead Data Central, in 1992; and director, corporate planning, in 1994.  In 1995, he was promoted to vice president, worldwide, performance, Packaging Systems Division, Atlanta, Georgia.  He became vice president, Asia Pacific and Latin America, Packaging Systems Division, in 1997.  In 1998, he returned to Dayton, Ohio, as vice president, economics and strategy, for the Papers Group.  In 2000, he was named vice president and general manager, The Americas, Packaging Systems Division, in Atlanta, Georgia.  Prior to his current position, Steve was vice president, corporate strategy.
