A company is only as successful as its employees. At MWV, we believe in giving people every chance to grow and thrive. Our employee networks help to:

• Engage employees and foster the free exchange of ideas and perspectives.
• Encourage peer-to-peer support, promote networking opportunities, and attract, build and retain a workforce that reflects diversity.
• Partner with the MeadWestvaco Foundation to identify opportunities for community involvement.
• Advance the Supplier Diversity initiative.
• Provide enrichment and personal development opportunities to members.

African-American Network

Information sharing works wonders when performed on a global scale. Or even when two or more individuals exchange ideas in a single room. This is the principle behind the MWV African-American Network. Through networking and mentoring, our members advance their personal and professional development. It's this sharing of ideas and perspectives that makes MWV an exciting place to work.

Women's Network

Experience is a great teacher. The MWV Women's Network gives members the opportunity to share their experiences in an open, welcoming environment. Members explore avenues for career advancement through networking events and guest speakers, and mentoring, while achieving personal and professional growth.

Members of the African-American and Women's Network groups engage in personal and professional growth through:

• Participating in networking events
• Engaging in panel discussions with community leaders
• Developing through formal and informal mentoring programs
• Attending skill building workshops
• Participating in community volunteerism and outreach activities
